MOTOR VEHICLE PRODUCTION
Our production facilities at Tonsley Park produce the award winning Mitsubishi 380. This enormous vehicle assembly plant at can produce up to 300 vehicles in a single shift.
We are supported by Mitsubishi Motors Corporation's extensive network of manufacturing expertise. 380 is just one of the vehicles in our internationally competitive range which also includes fully imported passenger and 2 and 4 wheel drive light commercial vehicles covering the complete spectrum of motor vehicle applications. Indeed we believe that there's a vehicle for everyone in the Mitsubishi Fleet.
TOOLING FACILITIES
The Tonsley Park Plant also holds one of the largest centralised Tooling Maintenance Facilities in the Southern Hemisphere. It provides highly skilled labour and up to date NC equipment and services to our Tonsley Park Manufacturing Facility. The service provided includes: Die repair, Jig and Fixture construction and maintenance along with general fabrication work. This facility also provides the technical and versatile positions for Tool Design, Planning, CAD CAM, Project Estimating and Production Engineering which are so vital to the changing needs of the automobile industry.

Mitsubishi Motors is one of Australia's largest vehicle manufacturers. The company continues to have a strong presence in the Australian market with over 2,000 direct employees and a 200-plus strong national dealer network.
Mitsubishi Motors Australia is both a domestic manufacturer and importer of vehicles. In 2005, MMAL brought a number of new and exciting models to Australia including the Lancer Evolution IX, Grandis, Outlander and Colt. These vehicles join the well-established Mitsubishi range which includes Pajero, Triton, Lancer, and of course the locally produced 380.
